God sees you there, when your laying in your bed with the covers over your head watching Netflix on your phone, believing that its better to be by yourself when you're feeling this way. God sees you. There is nowhere you can hide from God.
Psalm 139:7-12"Amplified Bible (AMP) - Where could I go from your spirit? Where could I flee from your presence? If I go to heaven you are there; if I make my bed in the place of the dead you are there. If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand will lead me, your hands will hold me. If I say, surely the darkness will cover me and the night will be the only light around me, Even the darkness hides nothing from you. But the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to you"
God can look past all of that and see your hurt and pain and moodiness. Depression, makes us want to hide, and we hear all of the things we wish we never did. There is a song called "Hello my name is" by Matthew West. It says "Hello, my name is regret,I’m pretty sure we have met, Every single day of your life, I’m the whisper inside, That won’t let you forget Hello, my name is defeat, I know you recognize me, Just when you think you can win, I’ll drag you right back down again, ‘Til you’ve lost all belief." This song describes two friends of depression, Regret and defeat. These lyrics describe the lies that reside within our minds all the time. There are some other friends of depression that hang out and whisper their own lies and drag you deeper into depression. Their names are guilt, inadequate, worthless, ugly, and insignificant. These voices lie to you day after day and tell you all the things you don't want to hear but that are so easy to believe.

The great, awesome, and true news is that God does not want us to live like this, and He does want us to claim victory over depression! The key is to make God the ruler and most significant thing/person in your life! After that, you have to claim the truth and accept that Jesus has forgiven you and because of that, there is nothing to regret, or feel guilty about. There is nothing that can make you feel worthless, inadequate, ugly, or insignificant about, and feeling defeated is already won because you cannot be dragged down any longer! The rest of Matthew West's song says "Hello my name is child of the one true king, I've been saved, I've been changed, I have been set free". This is what we have to claim every day! Then the only thoughts that can come into your mind are the ones that are true. The truth is that
you are God's beloved!
Luke 3:22 says "You are my beloved, in you I am well pleased."
